The second generation of "Self-care glasses for the mind and body," JINS MEME, was developed under the leadership of the business manager. From concept and business model development to service design, app planning, UX/UI design, packaging design, TV commercials, website creation, and the design of the launch event, the entire creative process was planned and produced.

01Business Design

Launching a business requires answering various critical questions. How can the concept of "self-care for the mind and body" be realized? What is the best way to create a valuable and user-friendly experience in people's daily lives? What kind of business model ensures the sustainability of the venture? By seeking solutions to these questions simultaneously, we designed the product, service, and business, continuously refining hypotheses along the way.

Instead of sticking to a traditional one-time purchase business model, we also developed a new sales approach that leverages the unique features of wearable glasses, along with a system for continuous value delivery.

02Product Design

To maintain a balanced mind and body, it is essential to first understand oneself. UX/UI was designed to clearly present various data, such as how stable the mind is, how much the posture tilts to the sides, whether there is slouching, and how long one sits throughout the day.

The design emphasizes the ease of measuring and collecting personal data simply by wearing glasses, along with the ability to change habits through visualized information in the app. This approach ensures a seamless and intuitive experience for users to engage with their own physical and mental health.

03Communication Design

Not only the glasses and app, but also all surrounding touchpoints such as packaging, books, posters, and key visuals were designed in an integrated manner. We also collaborated with Ichiro Yamaguchi from Sakanaction, who featured in the production of visuals and videos that express the world vision JINS MEME aims to create.

04Web Design

The planning and production of JINS MEME's product website were carried out with a focus on clearly visualizing features such as the sensors in the nose pads of the glasses and their integration with the app. The goal was to make these functionalities as easy to understand as possible for users.
